The Israeli Supreme Court has reached the outer limit of craziness, so this will be my last note on them. Yuval Yoaz writes in HaAretz (Hebrew) that Israeli Supreme Court has condemned a man for rape, since he did not interrupt a sex act engaged by mutual consent (and hotness), when the lady changed her mind in the middle and asked him out. Rape, in Israel, carries a mandatory seven year long jail term, and judges tend to add more for all kind of aggravating circumstances. I wonder what kind of pesonal experience, if any, the judges have. Can a 20 year old man in heat hear or understand the girl moaning "no, please, stop..."? Can he actually stop? The Supreme Court's sentence is "takdimi", meaning it establishes a new legal norm. All I can say I feel lucky being totally inactive this field many years ago now. Let the young people deal with this incredible craziness.
I sold my Igud (Union Bank) stocks at a 16% loss. I had bought them a year ago, in the idea that it was the only bank that had not changed hands and had not seen its price doubled. But instead of rising, its price went down. I prefer to put my savings into something more risky and potentially rewarding. A new opportunity has presented itself, the Tau Holding company is emmitting Options Serie 9 on the stock, and then Yehida Beth, which is an option on the price of the option. The minimum initial selling price is based on the supposition that TAU's price will double till 2011. Tau is a holding company of a luftgescheften businessman, it produces nothing but makes all kinds of deals. Like Anter Holdings, which is very successful. I think I will buy these B units, it has never been such financial instrument in Israel.
