Migron must not fall

Migron was founded in 2002 on a strategic hilltop overlooking the main Jerusalem-Shomron highway, between Psagot, Adam and Michmas. Former IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Moshe Yaalon, then the Central District Commander who the force behind Migron's establishment. Migron is being attacked not by Arabs, but by the Israeli left, that has caused the High Court to declare Migron an illegal settlement and ordered the Army to destroy it. In the meanwhile, the Army is delaying the court order, but in the end, the pressure from pro-palestinian Israeli forces may do its effect. Now, in view of the "success" in destroying a Jewish shtetl in the shomron, they have put their aims on the most important village which is Ophra. As known, land registry in the Ottoman Empire was rather chaotic and village lands were not clearly delimited, so enemy organizations are investing enormous resources in finding historical irregularities in the registration of the land on which Ophra is built. The High Court petition is now Ofra's top priority and greatly troubles the population. "What I find most foolish," said Gisser, "is that the court is dealing with questions of arguments between neighbors. When one neighbor claims, 'This is mine, why are you building here,' he goes to the police and files a complaint. I couldn't run to the High Court over such a matter, and here the High Court hears and accepts the argument out of a highly cynical political consideration." The pity of all is that it is not the FATAH or HAMAS are causing all this nefarious troubles, it is the Jewish left who has internalized antisemite arguments, such as Israel's lack of legitimacy. They have the illusion that the bitter mortal hate of our enemies may be mitigated by picking up their libels and accusations against us and punishing ourselves with self-served extra dose of masochism. They have fallen into desperation standing against the world's solid, unflexible, eternal wall of rejection of us. Our enemies also feel their (our) desperation and rejoice thinking that our will to live is starting to crack. Very bad.
