The summer heat caused Mr. Hussam, an Arab construction worker, to go crazy and drive his Caterpillar bulldozer into a bus. The very next moment he joined 70 virgins in paradise.

This is what I was talking about last week - this is the proper cure for Mr. Hussam's disease - the lead treatment. To have captured Mr. Hussam alive so that he could have an expensive trial and be kept in an expensive jail and exchanged for Jews kidnapped for that purpose is not a good use of resources. There is no condemnation attached to taking this kind of action, even among leftist circles (except for those who think that Jew killing is a good thing or is at least "a natural reaction to opression") so this kind of instant "trial" and execution is the absolute right thing to do.
Yesterday's bulldozer driver was named Ghassan Abu Tir - Hussam Dwayat was the July 2 driver.
They say that when the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. From the Arab point of view, all the tools of Western civilization are only good for one thing - Jew killing. A pipe is not for carrying water, it is for making Kassam rockets. A bulldozer is not for digging the foundation to new homes, it is for destroying buses, etc. Although in general the Arabs are not very bright and not good at inventing anything in the modern period, they seem quite ingenious when it comes to inventing new ways of Jew killing, so perhaps the problem is not lack of intelligence but lack of motivation when it comes to other matters.
Mr Hussam joined his celestial harem last week. Mr Ghassan followed him afterwards.
I would not read too much into these acts of amok. Caterpillars are not weapons. The summer heat in Jerusalem is known to drive feebleminded people to distraction. During the Turkish rule, a murder committed under the influence of the hamsin was considered a crime of passion.
I have one more comment and that is about Yaki Asahel, the Jew who allowed Abu Tir to meet his 70 virgins (or according to some readings, 70 raisins). On the one hand, he is not my kind of guy personally - a settler with a beard and many children, a religious fanatic. On the other hand I love him beyond words - he is the Zionist dream turned to flesh. Even though he is a frummer yid, there is not one bit of the ghetto left in him. He is not the kind of guy who will stand meekly while the Nazis snip his beard and force him to scrub the sidewalk for their amusement. Here is the video.

We see Yaki (after he has shot the deranged Arab) return his pistol to his belt and he is about to go on with his day, as if nothing happened. As he is walking back to his car, the camera man calls out and asks his name. Then he shouts to him, Kol hakavod, Yaki! and Yaki returns the thumbs up, but modestly . Kol hakavod indeed - if there had been more like you, perhaps we would not be six million short.
