Spanish State unable to organize the use of water resources

The Anarchists (there are such in Spain) are accusing the Spanish State (ruled by left wing socialists) that are unable to organize efficiently the use of Spain´s dwindling water resources. Spain´s rainfall is about half of what used to be and Cataluña is dry and soon will have to declare a water emergency. Barcelona´s water fountains are closed and dry.“No podemos dejar a cinco millones de personas sin agua para beber”, dijo Miguel Iceta del Partido Socialista Catalán (PSC), que encabeza el gobierno regional.Spain is suffering from the Israeli syndrome, ¨There is no drought, there is mismanagement¨. The next thing is to create a parlament committee to investigate and punish the responsibles, as we already have.

PS: It is raining in Catalunya. The Rain God is a Socialist.

Here in Arizona the Salt River Project spent a considerable amount of money raising a local masonry dam with a concrete upper. Now that the lake behind the dam can hold twice as much water the local media keeps reporting that "our reservoirs are half full, we need to conserve water." Actually we need a fence with Mexico in order to slow down population growth here in the desert.
