War offers no outcome other than victory or defeat. Seeking ¨quiet¨ we are are fated to defeat. I hate all that defeatist nonsense about limited goals and seeking "quiet". Our goal cannot be other than ¨victory¨ which is to have Haniye, the Hamas President, hanging from a flagpole on Gaza´s main street. We shall send Haniye to occupy its well earned seat in the Palestinian pantheon. Seventy virgins are anxiously expecting him there.

I see you agree somewhat with the comment from John Q Reb off of the Chronicles site. What is needed is a campaign larger than 1967, in short expulsion.
I am inclined to agree, but who will replace Hamas? As these things tend to go (Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran), engineering a society by tearing down and propping up certain leaders has frequently backfired.
It might be better for Israel to change the game with Hamas, a party it already knows something about, rather than replacing them with a new entity. Is there any way for them to do that?
The old CIA used to know how to do well these things.
You seems to remember the Southern Cone Agreement, whereby the Latin American dictators of the 1970's could have their leftist enemies extradited from another country. Once these dictators got possession of their enemies they could either kill or torure them.
Years of intervention in L.A. doesn't seem to have done much good considering that the native population keeps voting for leftist clowns. The only thing that seems to work is either constant intervention, or recolonization.
Israel should either take control of Palestine and rule it directly, or expel the Palestinians.
