Medinat Halacha - in Pakistan

Medinat Halacha is the dream of Israel ruled by Biblical laws, the Torah. Few take it seriously, but the idea is gaining foot in the Islam. it can be argued the Saudi Arabia is ruled by the Quran, and as was Afganistan under the Taliban (divinity students). Now Pakistan government has given up the Swat Valley to the Taliban, accapting the rule of the Sharia as interpreted by the rebels. Alreadyu, the Taliban in Swat have executed dozens of government employees, including policemen, and people they accused of indulging in "un-Islamic" activities. They have banned the education of girls and bombed or torched nearly 200 schools in the valley. They have also banned the playing of music in public transport and barred barbers from shaving beards.

From 1500 till 2000 wars were always won by those accepting Western ideas and weapons. The thousands of screaming mullahs led by the Mahdi had not a chance against the English army. But now, apparently, the primitives are winning.

Moderate Islamists will claim that Biblical law can be interpreted in extreme ways too, with many instances of "genocide" and whatnot in the Torah. The difference is that it has not been interpreted this way, and it is a despicable abomination that Sharia law has been applied like this.

Any "moderate" interpretation of Sharia law will more closely resemble Torah law. Jewish diaspora communities had a great deal of autonomy in medieval europe, with Jewish legal courts in control of community social, criminal, and economic issues.

It's because we consider all people our equals, therefore we often give them our technology. Also, we are not as willing to be ruthless the way we used to be.

You're right, Rashkov. I've never seen a statement like this, for instance, come from moderate Jews: "This action places Peace Now in the category of malshin, Jewish informers. According to the rabbinical law, a malshin must be executed, no Sanhedrin required."

As for me, in questions of survival of the Jewish people, I am inflexible. I am standing as a proud Jew in front of poisonous antisemitism, criminal mass murder intentions by our neighbors and not-so-near neighbors, in this miniature embattled nation. I hope you agree with me Lev that we do have enemies, and that these enemies have repeatedly announced their will to throw us into the sea, together with our womenfolk and babies. Moreover, they have actually tried to carry out their intentions, and they are shooting us and bombarding us day after day. Do we agree to this point? Or it is all result of my paranoia? If we do agree that we have serious enemies, then those of us collaborating with them are traitors, arent they? And by collaborating I dont mean being more antiJewish than they are, or going like Prof. Pappe to foreign universities and asking to outcast us and not to talk to us. That is very ugly but our enemies know how to "honour" these idiots who think that they are currying favor and fame by being antiIsraeli israelis. I mean by actually helping our sworn enemies to carry out their murderous intentions, such as providing maps, photographs, names, etc. that may cause Jews to be thrown to jail or assessinated. I dont know if you have ever travelled to foreign country with an Israeli passport and felt unsecure. The persons inciting against us are a danger to the community and the community has the right to defend itself. I dont know any country where treason goes unpunished. In the rich and secure countries of the West, the punishment can be light, but for a community in war, as we are, punishment is necessarily severe. I hope Lev you agree with me.

When a nation feels insecure the punishment for treason is usually death. During the Mexican War a unit of Irish Catholic immigrants who volunteered for the war switched sides and fought for Mexico. When the unit was captured they were all executed.

As for me, writing from 1938, in questions of survival of the German people, I am inflexible. I am standing as a proud German in front of poisonous anti-Germanism, criminal mass murder intentions by our neighbors in Soviet Russia and England and not-so-near neighbors in America, in this miniature embattled nation. These enemies have repeatedly announced their will to murder us, starve us, and castrate us.

The community has the right to defend itself.

I hope Lev you agree with me.

But J - I always have.

Herr Lev, I concede you the right to kill all the Germans who collaborate with your enemies who want to castrate you. Should any German in 1935 publish the secret plans of the German Army to defend Hamburg port or Berlin Airport, I think you are within your rights.

I resent your attemp to somehow draw a parallel between Nazi aggression with Israeli fight for survival. For one, Chamberlain and Stalin did everything to satisfy German demands and no one wanted to attack Germany. I want Ahmedenijad fly to Tel Aviv to negotiate peace. I want Hamas to go back to Gaza with the news that the have achieved peace for a generation, as Chamberlain did.

J, I want to reiterate my position that you will have to expel the Palestinians if you want peace or survival.

Imagine a two kilometer wide asteroid entering the solar system headed straight for Earth. If we could deflect this asteroid when it enters the solar system by just one degree by the time the object is supposed to hit our planet it will have moved so far off course so as to be of no risk to us.

If we wait until the asteroid is halfway to Earth then we will have to use a lot of force to move it say fifteen degrees to ensure that it will just barely miss us.

If we wait until the asteroid is almost upon us then we will have to throw everything we have at it hoping that we can either destroy it or limit the damage by breaking it up.

That asteroid is Palestine, and it is headed for Israel. In the aftermath of WW2 the West gave the Jews a homeland without getting rid of all of the existing inhabitants. If we had had the foresight to see the albatross the Arab-Israeli conflict would be around our necks, then for a small amount of money compared to the Marshall plan we could have payed the Palis to leave. If Israel had found a way to make the Palis go away, such as expulsion after the 1967 war then Israel would not have the Hamastan n its' rear area the way it does now. Now that the UN (with my tax dollars!) has spent 6 decades feeding and breeding the Palis in the world's largest high-density feedlot the cost of dealing with them, and ending the terrorist threat permanently is a lot higher. Worse, as long as they share a border with you, instead of being in say, Jordan they can be used far more successfully by Muslim imperialists like Iran as a justification for Jihad. Remember that it was the plight German community in Danzig, Poland that was part of Hitler's motivation to invade Poland. Iran may decide to attack you in the name of the feedlot residents claiming that you are oppressing them.

You need a secure rear area, and you need the Palis at least 100 miles from Israel. Even more you need to remove a compelling reason for the Arab world to hate you, although they will still have other reasons to hate you.

Expel the Palestinians now, or your final options as the asteroid approaches may be too horrible for me to list here.

We may be as primitive as they are since we abort little children in their mother's wombs. If abortion were illegal the White birthrate here in the US would be at replacement levels, like it is in Israel.

I am no fan of Blacks, but their children at least deserve the chance to be born, instead of being ripped to pieces. Right now the abortuaries kill more Blacks in the US than AIDS.

I equally resent your attempt to somehow deny a parallel between Israeli aggression with German fight for survival.

"For one, Chamberlain and Stalin did everything to satisfy German demands and no one wanted to attack Germany."

Then why did they?

I want Livni to fly to Tehran to negotiate peace. I want the settlers to go back to Tel Aviv with the news that they have achieved peace for a generation, as Chamberlain did.

It's all binary, J. You must realize that if you, the Secret Israeli Water Engineer, had been born a German in 1889, with the same personality attributes you currently display, you would have been a National Socialist. The original Zionists acknowledged as much.

Now I'm off to spend time with my wife, Lenni Brenner.

My Friend, you are terminally confused. You are trying to work a parallel between attacked and attacker, between the one who fires a Kassam flying grenade and the one who lives in fear of getting hit by it. By way of rethorical acrobatics you reduce all to the same level, the army occupying Paris and the army manning the Maginot line, wolf and sheep, hangman and hanged, it is all the same, one is interchangeable for the other, there I go but the grace of God. I am sorry, but cannot agree with you, but still I hope you have a nice time with Ms. Brenner.

There is an American Christian group called the Chalcedon foundation that wants to put the US under biblical law.
