America Moves To The Left
Obama´s first budget is industry-unfriendly. The Environmental Protection Agency's budget will rise by 34% to $10.5 billion, with new money provided to crack down on industrial polluters. This means, my estimate, an increase of 3 to 5% in average production costs and a cumulative decrease in the GNP of about 10%. Also the SEC and the financial sector regulation receives larger budgets. This is happening in the initial phases of a probably prolongued depression.

Who would have thought that importing third worlders for cheap labor could have such globe spanning effects?
As for the increase in production costs, how much do you believe is produced in the US?
We make:
1. Large aircraft - but Boeing has a state subsidized competitor that would love to see it go under.
2. Operating systems - Linux is a free operating system pushed by Europe as a means of independence from the US.
3. Construction equipment - some of what we make is unique, like walking draglines, but most of what we make is made in other countries too.
4. GM & Ford - Ditto.
Europe would love to see us go under as the goal of the European superstate is to copy then surpass the US. I'm not sure about East Asia since we helped them get started and we are still their largest customer.
Look at a map showing which states voted for Obama. The states in the northeastern quadrant of the US voted for Obama despite not having the minority populations of the southeastern US. In the NE quadrant from Iowa to Massachusetts literally millions of Whites voted for Obama. In these same regions jobs have been fleeing high state taxes, and parasitical unions since at least 1960. Also, these are the states that took in millions of White Catholics from about 1850 to 1920, making them more distinct than anyone realizes.
If you combine a common religion (Catholicism), with a common origin, and a feeling of regional identity you almost have the makings of a nation. Essentially millions of people in the North voted for the party that they feel represents their "nation", which makes them just as tribal as the Blacks.
Of course, deeply down we are all tribal. And tribes can and do co-exist within the same political system by forming alliances. New York city is a good example of ethnic blocks government.Israeli government is a coalition of basically ethnic groups faking to have ideological differences.
J, my point is that one of America's White tribes has formed an alliance with the Blacks and immigrants to rule this country, even if the other regions and even their own suffer. I gave the North's economic decline as an example of their separation from reality, which shows their inability to grasp simple economic principles. Now this same region has helped to elect an open socialist, who will bring their cluelessness to the national level.
Moreover, I am convinced that on a regional basis they hate the rest of the country and consider it to be inferior.
But they will soon suffer swingeing and self-inflicted tax increments, and ultimately recoil from the error of their ways. As Ronduck says, the chief motivator was always hatred of Republican supporters, and the Democrats seemed to promise a way of hurting the redneck states without paying a price themselves. But this was always a form of magical thinking, and in the meantime some serious damage will have been done to the whole country. Possibly irreversible. And, I am now fairly sure, another costly and highly dangerous foreign adventure is in the forecast. And the physical burden will not be falling on the liberal elite. But they will be paying for all of this, one way or another.

Taxes are certain. A foreign adventure, maybe. I for one am for America continuing to police the world, without it the whole world would reverse to lawlessness and chaos, like Somalia or worse.

I don't think the whole world would revert to chaos. The north east Asian countries are easily as bright as US Whites, and could at least maintain order regionally if they had to. Some parts of the world could end up like Somalia, such as Africa but I think that although parts of the world would regress, at least half would make it.
Worse than Somalia!
I am not necessarily against the policeman role, but the question as always is who benefits and who pays.

Yes, but what is the difference between a tribe and a nation? Here is my hierarchy of differences, from largest to the smallest:
1. Racial - The greatest gap between two men is racial. US Blacks are good example, the only way they could be any more alien from the rest of the American population is if they were part of a different species.
2. Civilizational - The common man when taling about Islam will sometimes mistakenly group the muzzies as a race even though the various Islamic groups are radically different. The reason for this is that Islam covers a lot of territory and inspires very high group cohesion. The members of this group stick to together so well that they approach racial cohesion. Another example is Orthodox civilization. Despite the racial similarities between the West and Orthodox civilization, the two are separate and fight constantly. And yet the Orthodox come right up behind the West when it comes to organization and ability having challenged the US an Europe around the globe during the Cold War.
3. National - these groups share a common history, language and religion. Nations are divided into: tribes. When the German nation invaded western Europe around 300 AD the Germans were divided into tribes, but since they practiced the same form of Paganism and spoke the same language they were still one nation, not a collection of nations invading the Empire.
4. Tribal - a division of a nation, speaking the same language, but remaining separate in some way.
Generally the lesser the differences between the groups in a State, the more efficiently it will operate, and the more conservative it will be. The subjects of such a state will prefer to conserve it if they feel that they will be passing it on to others like themselves in the future, otherwise they have no connection to it.
Israel could be said to be composed of the Hebrew nation, of the Semitic race. The Hebrews are divided into tribes even now such as the Poles, Sephardic, Russian, Hungarian and others. The tribes compete for power, but nonetheless share a common language, a common history, some common blood and have a shared religious tradition, even if many do not practice it. Such a common religious background is so pervasive that even if the occasional Hebrew were to convert to Christianity their children would still be surrounded by and aware of the common religion of Israel.
Now let's look at NYC. One third of New York residents are Black, setting them apart racially from the rest of the city's residents. US Blacks share a common history, in that they see their nation as having been born in common event, slavery, speak a variety of English to set themselves apart and worship separately in their own churches. Many of our Blacks also convert to racial Islam (NoI) that is a religion centered around their experiences, putting themselves at the center almost as a chosen people. In short, US Blacks are a separate nation, that is also racially and civilizationally distinct. On top of that many of the Blacks in NY?C are immigrants. legal and illegal. Then there are the Puerto Ricans, who speak a different language and are part of a Latin, not Western, civilization. The final group in NYC are Northern Whites.
As you can see the groups in NYC have far greater differences than the tribes of Israel. Which is why NYC has a large, expensive and parasitical welfare paying city government; whereas Israel has a reasonable government able to run an effective school system.
Now that leads to a question: Are Northern Whites a separate nation? Almost, let's assume they are. They great mass of them identify with the Catholic church, believe in high taxes, are alienated from the South, identify with the Democratic party as their national representative, and see themselves as a minority the way the Blacks do. Also, Northern Whites have a common formative experience of their ancestors coming through Ellis Island and living in ethnic ghettos. Northern Jews can be considered a tribe of the Northern nation, even though they are not Catholic. Oregon, Washington and California can all be considered Pacific colonies of the North, since they vote with it in so many elections.
