Taki, the Law and Order Man

Taki, the Greek sybarite, keeps distracting me while I have very urgent work on my desk. His latest humoresque is a panegyric to Vassilis, a Greek criminal, whose exploits "have him cheering". Vassilis kidnapped on gunpoint a rich Greek and collected 6 million Euros for letting him go. One would assume that an ultra-rich Greek magnate like Taki would feel empathy with the unfortunate victim, imprisioned for weeks in a hidden dungeon, Death hanging on his head, finally free but pennyless, but no, Taki, the self described Law and Order Man, envisions himself encarnated as this Vassilis lowlife. His febril imagination fixates on Vassilis's girlfriend, a "lassie who I imagine looks like Ava Gardner or Rita Hayworth circa 1950s". In Taki's wet dream "... the chopper hovered over the jail yard, Ava-Rita threw out a rope ladder...and ...". With heavily breathing prose, he describes Taki-Vassilis and Ava-Rita's romantic escape by helicopter so vividly that one can feel his trance, his rigidity, his sudden paroxism and possibly even his ejaculation. Nero Wolf (pic., BTW a Macedonian) would comment with one word: Pfuia.
