Meditation

Here I am on the surface of this planet, more or less free to do anything I may want all within the biological limitations of my advanced age. There is a strong crisis working its way through the economic world and old structures are falling apart and the new factors have yet to reveal themselves. In five years we shall know who are those who had not been wasting their time and managed to emerge stronger from the ruins. I have to think who may be these people, where they are now and what they are doing. Think, J. The painter is Guan Yong.

Personally, I favour the fortunes of people who control real, tangible property, in which category I do not include paper money or Byzantine financially "engineered" assets.

Core real estate, where people actually have to live or work, base minerals which cannot easily be substituted, prime agricultural land, water rights, easily extractable energy sources, and the only intangibles I will allow, problem solving and analytical skills, integrity and a beehive work ethic. These people will rule the world, at least until the parasites again learn how to exploit them.

Anon.

The times are so tumultuous that I don't think anyone knows the answer to your questions.

What did the 1927 depression to the main players? China and India broke down and broke up, stopped exporting. Germany, Austria and Hungary went into spiralling down and ended in chaos and agression. Russia made a tremendous effort and emerged an industrialized coutnry, with large production of electricity, oil and basic metals. But the winner was the United States, that came out of the depression with very strong large hi-tech companies, such as General Electric, IBM, the phone companies, Ford and the other car companies, etc. American agriculture emerged from the crisis with few farmers buy incredible yields and production. American production was so large that the Germans and the Japanese thought it was all fake and didnt believe it. The Nazis imagined America as a mulatto nation, full of gangsters and shooting, without their maturity and depth. Many American right wing people seems to have accepted that view of America, but it is wrong. In conclusion, I think that American high tech companies will emerge from the current crisis ready to take over, once more, the world. I would invest in Goggle, Yahoo, Intel, and similars.

Our welfare system needs to end before it eats the society that funds it by attracting millions of foreigners.

Germany has the means to acquire such weapons if it feels the need to do so. So a global war would probably go nuclear.
