Broken Rib

I fell about a month ago and apparently broke a rib. It was already healing when I had a cough attack and it is hurting once more. I look like a white phantom with the pain. I can expect pain over the injured rib for two - three months.

Sorry to hear that.

Best wishes on your speedy recovery.

Thanks. It is not serious, but painful.

Yes, I too hope you heal soon.

Healing a broken rib takes only about a week when one is a baby, then it takes longer.

I think most of a baby's bones are actually made of cartilage not calcium when they are born. Of course, a child's bones harden as they turn into calcium.

Then calcium is lost...

You are not an 80 year old woman. Besides, you profile says you are 111 years old, if it hasn't hurt you yet, then you should be okay.

Thanks. That is what I am saying, I should be okay.

Still hurts.

My age "is" 111 because that is the largest number accepted by the "Edit Profile" feature. I feel much older.

Actually, if you look at Al-Fins's blogger profile you will see that he is 346 years old.

Looked at his profile and verified his age. He could reach that age because he lives in the Cayman Islands whose water supply feeds on the Fountain of Eternal Youth. Here in Israel we have to do with recycled wastewater mixed with desalinated seawater.
