Miserable Stimulus for USA Water Projects

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 generated more than $2 billion in stimulus funding for U.S. drinking water infrastructure projects. Meaning that less than 0.3% of the Stimulus Funds are channelled toward drinking water infrastructure. 2 billion in a country of 300 million is peanuts. I find it shocking how different is the impression one gets reading the headlines of national newpapers and then the details in the trade publications.
