On Thursday, Israeli security forces ripped apart the Pnei Shiloh hilltop camp, cut the water supply pipelines and dismantled the electric system in an attempt to make it more difficult to rebuild. Residents were not discouraged and already they have rebuilt the synagogue. Rabbi Dov Lior and MK Michael Ben-Ari of the Ichud Leumi party participated in the event. "Obama thinks we can just be blown away by the wind" said Ben-Ari. “The people of Israel have returned to their land. We plan to hold onto it.”
