Beitar Illit and Modi'in Illit are two settlements which supposedly make up for half of the growth in the settlements. They are, however, right on the border and would probably be land-swapped into Israel, rather than dismantled. So by a simple land-swap, half the growth in the settlements is no longer a problem.

I don't disagree with you. I really don't know one way or the other. I would rather not see Jews give up land. I am under no impression that land for peace works, or that Palestinian leaders actually want or can build a homeland. I am tired of the world attacking Israel. However, I don't see any way forward. Do you?

The bottom libe of all human problems is demographic. Imagine South Africa conserving its demographic composition of about 1900 - 60% White majority. But they didnt feel menaced by mere Africans, they didnt count. They were the shoeshine boys, invisble and inconsequential. The same of Rhodesia. And the mighty United States, they thought that Whites could become a minority and NOT lose control of their country. We, thanks God, are aware of the demographic menace and trying to do something.

The comment about the Boers and natality is an interesting one.
For a start, they have access to and the ability to use contraception; and they are socially upwardly mobile, so at an individual level, they do not want to be encumbered by lots of children. These are the same forces operating in much of the West.
Secondly, there is now real poverty amongst some of them, and there is no longer a preferment for poor whites in social employment by the government; so the economic power has declined amongst the Afrikaner lower classes, who normally would be expected to have lots of children (and who certainly used to).
Thirdly, the Boers and the English,the two dominant white groups, stupidly spent a lot of time fighting each other, and so do not coalesce naturally into a single white group with a strong unitary identity.
Fourthly, the "international community" spends a lot of time propagandising against any form of white nationalism and so "thought leaders", who want to be seen to be "progressive", have not yet organised themselves for their own ethnic interests.
Fifthly, the black govt in SA still needs the services of many whites so many of these whites just enjoy a non-reflective life of sport, sun and entertainment; just like the whites in Zimbabwe were suckered into quiescence in the immediate decade after black majority rule, by a seemingly benign Robert Mugabe.
Sixth, is the demise of religeon amongst whites of all types; this predisposes MOST BUT NOT ALL PEOPLE to hedonism and selfishness.
But you are so, so right; the only hope for SA is a white population explosion. It is unlikely to materialize.

That is one of the unexpected advantages of being constantly condemned by the United Nations and boycotted by British and other universities and so on. We in Israel are immunized to foreign criticism, and we are able to disregard international liberal opinion. Not all of us, there is a very strong group of liberals who fight against building in the settlements, against religious education, against the expulsion of Sudanese illegal "refugees" and so on. Their desperation has reached such a point that the Shalom Achshav organization is the main source of the USA about building in the settlements, and the British boycott of Israeli universities has been organized by... Israeli professors. The latest activity is collecting personal information about fighter pilots and submitting it to The Hague international court of justice as "war criminals". We Israeli Jews are our worst enemies, it is incredible.

I sincerely doubt that. You have bigger enemies outside your country. Given time you will outbreed the liberal Jews and they will no longer be a problem.
However, once you have outbred/outlasted your internal enemies, you will still have foreign enemies.

Nah. History has shown time and time again that Israel can thrash its external enemies. Israel will only be defeated through its own weakness and folly.
