We dont like the new Hillary neither

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Wednesday that the United States would consider extending a “defense umbrella” over the states in the Persian Gulf region if Iran does not bow to international demands to halt its nuclear program.
I dont like what she is saying. She starts from the vantage point that maybe Iran will reach its goal of nuclear weapons. She is intimating that the Obama government will do nothing to stop Ahmedinejad to get his hand on the bomb. She is saying that the American Government has already accepted the Iranian bomb. That scenario should be unthinkable. Unmentionable. Impossible. She would have to say that Ahmedinejad will hang from a Tehran lamppost. It appears we shall have to do it alone.

Somehow, I do not think the Iranian bomb is intended for you.
Or perhaps not only you.

Anon.

How can we take chances?

These religious fanatics are not stable, rational or calculating (like the Russians were in the Cold War).

I think it's very stable, rational, and calculating to want regional hegemony. Threatening Israel is a great way to do that. Backing up your proxy armies with a nuclear umbrella is even better.
