Lost power? That is bad. If WASPs lost power in the USA, so we can in Israel.

I live in the Northeast.
The WASPs didn't really lose power so much as they allied with and intermarried with ethnic Catholics and Jews (50% American Jew outmarriage rate) to create a master race of rootless, Anglo-Nordic-Jewish-Italian-Irish Cosmopolitans.
(I'm only slightly kidding...)
Episcopalians are still overrepresented in the US Senate and the Bush family is of old colonial heritage.
Mormon Americans such as Mitt Romney are mostly of Anglo-Saxon stock.
So it is a bit of an oversimplification to say WASPs lost power. It is more true the white Catholics and Jews became Anglicanized and joined WASP power structure.
The type of people who founded America have indeed lost power.
And having lost power, they are now in the process of being financially raped; enslaved, in fact, by a large and expanding parasite class some of whom have been there for a long time, but many of whom they have recently let in. And with "free" health care and open borders on the way, it will rapidly get much, much worse.
And then there will be another American Revolution, because 100 million patriots will not go quietly into the night.

Wasps lost out big time in America because people got caught up in
1.cheap labor
2.idealism, freedom, individualism, Uncle Tom's Cabin blah blah blah
3 Ironically all of those evil social darwinists were supportive of Catholic Irish and German immigration because they are considered "Nordic" This harmed English Protestant American demographics by having the elite support nonEnglish immigration.
Not unlike your own Israeli history with Ashkenazic percentage declining with massive Mizarchi immigration. Both groups being Jewish and therefore interchangeble, after all. Oh well.
The WASP decline has many causes. One was they contracepted themselves out of much of the gene pool.
Other westerners are doing that now as well.
