Europe did not fall apart as everybody predicted but it has grown to be an unified political unit. Its central institutions are working and it is able to operate as a military block. It is larger than the USA and its GNP is larger than China. Reading the papers, specially American ones, it is not so obvious. But the thing exists.

It is being infiltrated by people who do not share its values. This, of course, is not an accident.
A large, rich pile of resources cannot be defended by the kind of naive people who are currently in charge.
It will all come to a bad end, or, more likely, there will be an awakening, followed by, shall we say, a period of unpleasantness.
Eventually, it will be realized that a long-term historical cycle is at work.
One day, somebody may even understand it.

You could've written that about the Soviet Union (except GDP) almost to the end.
Military block?
That's LAUGHABLE. Without the US
military umbrella, Europe would
be history.
The USMC (United States Marine Corp) is larger than the entire
British military. And could easily
kick their ass. And the British are
the most "fearsome" military machine
in Europe.
Would anyone like to hazard a guess at what the next major European war is going to look like? Or are they beyond that now?
