How Much Did Jews Profit from A Decade of Affirmative Action?

Following my former elucubration on La Griffe's seminal paper, now I am going to calculate how much Jews profited from a decade of Affirmative Action.

My starting point is the note below, that shows that a large mass of working class Blacks moved up from the second lower quintile to the third and fourth quintile. There was also a parallel movement of Blacks and other minorities from the fourth quintile to the highest quintile, a movement that caused the displacement of Jews from those positions and their replacement. An additional factor was the appearance of Chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Indian immigrants, who presented a ferocious competition to the traditional residents in the upper quintiles, most pertinently, the Jews. While the Black - White movement in the lower ranks of society involved tens of millions of individuals, the action in the upper quintiles involved only a couple of millions, in Marxist terms, marginal processes. However, the small group of people here involved happens to be Jewish, thus important (I am talking about its importance for the individuals directly involved! And me, after all, they are my people!).

If in 1997 some 50% of the teachers in New York area were Jews, and in 2007 half or them have been replaced by Blacks and others, can we say that Affirmative Action has pushed out and down half of the Jews from their former social rank? No, we cannot say that, some of them just retired, others moved to other jobs, but mostly no fresh young Jewish teachers were coming forward so other ethnics had to take their place. Social revolutions are complicated things, more when it is done silently, under the table. But education is the main occupation of American Jews, and it was in the educatinal establishment that Affirmative Action made felt its effect most strongly. So, say in 1997 50% of the teachers in New York area were Jews, and in 2007 half or them have been replaced by Blacks and others, can we say that Affirmative Action has pushed out and down half of the Jews from their former social rank? Yes, definitely, we can say that. Jews (and upper class educated Whites) are losers in high up in the social pyramide, and they know it. They can point physically to the Black teacher who took their job. But Jews say nothing, since they feel that social justice is being made. It is a condition called "self hate". It is a Jewish disease.

It was not me who said that anything the Goyim may do to opress the Jews, the Jews will always come out ahead. The Haggadah of Pessach said it: Hamann the Evil Man organized the mass killing of the Jews of the Persian Kingdom, and in the end, he was hanged with his ten sons. I am confident that the displacement of Jews in the educational sector, as well as in all public service organizations, is good for the Jews. They will understand the fragility of their position in America, and move to Israel. That is how much the Jews profit from Affirmative Action. It is an unmeasurable gain.

But lets quantify it: How Much? If 50% of America's 6 million Jews is feeling the Affirmative Action pressure, I estimate that about 300,000 American Jews may be looking forward to the opportunity to sell their homes and move to Israel. Say only half do, that is 150,000 new immigrants in the next ten years. Affirmative Action, like Communism (of which it is a variant), pushes Jews out of their social positions and makes them emigrate. Communism has that effect on Jews: it chases them away. The year after Fidel Castro communist guerrilla took over Cuba, 99% of the Cuban Jews left for Miami and Tel Aviv. When Communist Russia allowed the emigration of Jews and Germans, 80% of the Russian Jews left Russia. Now, you may say Barack Obama is no Communist. I think he is, not the conventional party member, but definitely an ideological descendant of the "progressive" movement. Anyway, American Jews (and American Christians who are in the same class of "intellectual workers") are doomed to feel increasingly uncomfortable in the coming years and some of them will come to Israel.

Pure profit for Israel.

(I wrote 150,000 Jews coming to in Israel in the next decade for one reason. In my heart, I wish well to my Jewish brothers. But say Obama is re-elected, it will be 1,500,000).

Now I shall formulate a question that we shall be hearing in the post-facto future: How is that the Jews, so smart and active, were the main supporters (maybe the main cause) of Affirmative Action? How is that they did not see that they were going to be the number one victims of it? It was so obvious! Any dumb Black or White American could see that !

I need a large dose of humility to answer. We Jews did support Communist take-over of Hungary and Poland, yet many HUngarian Jews like Rajk ended hanging from a rope, and most of us had to run (we escaped from Hungary in 1956). South African Jews dis play an active role in ending Apartheid and bringing in the current regime. The consequence is that the majority of South African Jews had to leave their country and those still there, keep their visas always updated. The answer is that Diaspora Jews are sick. Being a Jew in the Diaspora makes them mentally sick. The only cure for Diaspora Jews is to make aliya, to become a free people in our land, the land of 2,000 years of hope, Jerusalem.
