The hopelessness around me makes my blood to boil, it rises my temperature, it excites me to action. Like Francisco Pizarro in Panama City in 1500, I feel the compulsion of navigate the oceans and have in my hand the gold of Peru.
We are standing on holy grounds facing a historical bull market.
I think Obama believes that entrenching socialism and "social justice" in America are infinitely higher priorities than the strength of the dollar.
Honestly, I do not think he has a coherent economic plan except to believe that the economy will "adjust" once the irreversible social changes have been nailed into place.
I doubt he will be allowed to run for a second term. Too many liberals have now realised that they will have to pay ruinous taxes to fund a massive and deeply un-American extorsion racket, which they and their kids will not benefit from.
At this point, the only clearly group that has clearly come out against Obama is the Jewish community. If Obama keeps attacking Israel, the Southern evangelical fundamentalist people will have a reason to join the opposition. What I dont see are workers on the street protesting the closure of factories. Obama's blackness makes it difficult to oppose him without being labelled a racist. It is very unfair and cruel, but lets say the truth: back in their alligator minds, the Chinese and Europeans are all expecting him to fail.
I think the recession is L shaped. Down to where we are now then basically flat in inflation adjusted dollars. No more economic growth period. Certain sectors will decline faster than others so some business will grow as they gain market share from those that go out of business permanently. With the loss of a creative, disciplined cultural consensus combined with feminism destroying beautiful productive people at their source, I see the dawn of a new dark age. I would love to be wrong, please tell why I am.

What makes you think that the market is going higher from here? I'm not so sanguine myself.

Henry Blodget says stocks are overvalued.

I think he's right.
"... the last few months have already been full of surprises."
His opinion if very conditional.
Yesterday's action on NASDAQ seems very optimistic. There are people with money eager to invest.
It's not so much that stocks are rising in value, it's that the money they are priced in is shrinking in value.

Anonymous,
I agree.
Soon being a millionaire will be meaningless.
Depressing.
The term millionaire was coined in the 19th century. It does not mean the same thing today.
It does not even mean the same thing as last year.

Which would be consistent with Obama having an IQ of 85. Or else he intends to destroy this country, which means he could have an IQ of 125.
Whatever, he is still Black, which I think is reason enough to oppose him.
