Self Doubt in America

I am seeing signs of self-doubt and loss of confidence in America. Not good. From The Business Insider, August 14, 2009:
If there's one thing most American capitalists agree on it's that Europe's economy is a disaster. It never grows, it takes years to fire lazy employees, there's no entrepreneurialism and innovation, they tax they living hell out of you, etc.

And yet look who's recovering first?

And look who didn't even bother with a stimulus (Germany). And look whose citizens enjoy basic services that many Americans can only dream of (Europe). And look whose income inequality just hit an all-time high (U.S.)

So is Europe's economy really that much of a disaster? Is ours really so great?

If I remember correctly, Eurowhites have lower birthrates than American ones, although both of ours are disastrous.

I agree with Germany's lack of a bailout. The other two points are leftist talking points, from a press that doesn't talk about illegal immigration.

J, currently I am in the Mesa library sending this comment and nearby there are a few men discussing the Jews. You people really do get a lot of interest.

"Israeli government braces for cuts in military aid as U.S. economy worsens"

Officials said the ministry envisions several scenarios in which the Obama administration cuts U.S. military aid to Israel. They said the most likely option was that the Democratic-controlled Congress would ask Israel to agree to a significant cut to help the U.S. economy.

The Israeli Defense Ministry and military have already been examining substitutes for U.S. weapons and equipment, officials said. They said the ministry has determined that most of the U.S. equipment could be replaced, albeit with difficulty, by such suppliers as France and Russia.

Relevant article? Obama plans to take money away from aid to Israel to make sure Rosa or Pedro gets free medical care. And we don't like it.

Why should Israel need American aid anyway? Real first-world countries are able to stand on their own two feet. Israel seems strong enough to do so to me. It has lots of smart, productive people.

Regardless of aid to Israel, the world needs America to be a strong and secure military power. That is more important to Israel and the Middle East than the funding, which comprises a couple percent of Israel's GDP in the form of subsidized arms sales by US companies.

Obama intends to take money away from Israel to give it to Deion and his twelve bastard spawn in Detroit.

What American "dreams" of Europe's "basic" services?

That writer must be high.

I have been there, and "basic" is the right word. I am living the "dream" right here in the USA.

On our income we could easily afford 1/4 the lifestyle in Europe that we have in the US.
