As the plane settled down at Ben Gurion airport, the voice of the Captain came on:
"Please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened until this plane is at a complete standstill and the seat belt signs have been turned off."
"To those of you standing in the aisles, we wish you a Happy Chanukah."
"To those who have remained in their seats, we wish you a Merry Christmas."

I cannot understand what people hope to gain with the five or ten minutes they save by being first in the queue. With the current security procedures, one has to be at the airport 2 hours before flight time. The flight takes anything between 4 to 8 hours. What is a couple of minutes one way or another.
I cannot understand people on a city street who risk their car and body to pass my car when we are before a red light. We both stop at the red light and restart again from the same line.
