Now I am designing a hot water system for a Moroccan cake factory (no kidding, מפעל עוגיות מרוקאיות) and I want to have a permanent circulation system so there will be immediate hot water in every faucet. It will be a solar system like shown on the pic. The problem: It is a food factory and the Ministry of Health may ask for a Legionella control system. I'll have to maintain the water always hotter than 60 Centigrade and maintain a certain level of active chlorine in the water? All over the world they are celebrating the new year, the new decade, but here you have me battling this problem. Kever Benjamin, December 31, 2009 23.15 Hours.

A Happy and a Prosperous New Year to you, anyway!
Anon.
Yeah, Happy New Year J.
If solar wasn't required then I would suggest undersink tankless hot water heaters. I've seen these things in commercial establishments around here in the bathrooms and other places and they seem to work well.
Whatever.
The solar pump should work well, but you'll need a backup electric immersion heater in whatever hot water storage tank you devise to ensure that the stored hot water is always above 60 degC (at night?). Also remember that legionella loves nothing more than stagnation and no/low flow areas so ensure that you have good flow across any stored body of water and that all outlets are flushed or used at least once a week.
By the way - I like your blog. It's a lot of fun to read.
