Money is something white people have in unlimited quantities

I see you are quoting me now.
This is typical of the child-like thought patterns of the left, particularly its darker precincts. Consider it a form of cargo-cultism.
The flip side is that when whitey fails to pony up adequately as fairness and justice demand, then anger results and the miscreants/speculators (Jews) must be punished for their recalcitrant behavior.
Nathan Myhrvold has proposed a very inexpensive way to counter global warming, if it even exists (the earth has been cooling on its own for the last 10 years). We could pump sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere, which blocks out some of the sun, correcting for the supposed heating effects of carbon dioxide. When volcanoes erupt they do this naturally and global temperatures drop temporarily. The cure for man's disruption is not to return to some state of nature but thru technological means, just as catalytic converters largely cured the problem of smog, not forcing everyone to ride a bicycle. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2511875/nathan_myhrvolds_anti_global_warming.html?cat=15
The major disadvantage of this plan is that it would only cost $250 million to implement. $250 million is probably less than the amount that Zenawi planned to personally steal out of the West's $30 billion annual contribution to the 3rd World for the sin of being developed. Out of $250 million, you could steal perhaps no more than $50 million before people began to notice - this is not nearly enough. Think of all the "green jobs" that will not be developed if global warming is no longer an "urgent matter". This simply will not do - Myhrvold's invention must be un-invented, made a nullity, denied as a fraud in every way possible.
Childlike thinking it is, but cargo cult is something else. The cargo religion promises if you build stuctures like an airport, the cargo planes will appear in the sky and land with their marvelous goodies. The Third World extorsion racket believes that justice demands that what White man has should be shared equally with them. Some say that everything White Man has was stolen so in justice they should return all the goodies and pay compensation. As Pat said, their claims are laughable, and they have no power to enforce them, except that for some reason Obama and others seem to take them very seriously.
On a technical point: a Cargo Cult represents a type of error in logic in which necessary conditions are confused with sufficient conditions.
The faux airstrips built by the stone age New Guinea highlanders are the paradigm case; they expected that the construction of these stips would mandate the return of the cargo-carrying aircraft, and were indignant when it failed to happen.
You can see this kind of thinking operating in many guises today, even amongst relatively sophisticated people, especially when they start talking about "harnessing innovation", or harnessing anything that requires the preconditions of freedom and individual creativity. Universities are a good example. So are high-taxing governments.

And that takes us back to the question of who voted for these people. At least some fraction of the White electorate seems to agree with Obama.

Anon.
University degrees are a good example of cargo cult thinking.
Many prominent scientists had City College degrees; ergo, if all of us had those papers, we would be all Nobel Prize scientists.
It is frustrating that it is not happening. They must be cheating us somewhere.
