The NYT writes about the Old European Culture of the first farmers that peopled Europe from what is now Turkey. The pieces start to fall into a pattern. They made cute female figurines.
Implication is that the demic diffusion theory of peopling Europe is true, that the archaelogical remains are there. This people are the ancestors of the Europeans.
That figurine must have taken a lot of work and high artistry to make. It is good to know that men of 6500BC through ancient Greece and down to our time all love the callipygian archetype .

I didn't know Latins had an ass fixation. Normally I think of US Blacks desiring large butts.
Having said that, this device came out a few years ago here in the US. So there is some interest in a shapely behind, but I don't think anyone is willing to die for such a look.
