The magic disappearance and reappearance of Dennis Mangan's blog is widely commented on the blogosphere. My thesis was that the Government did it for Mangan's subversive postings, but no one in the blogosphere seconded my opinion, so I abandoned it and filed it under "J's paranoia". In Al Fin's blog I found a simpler and better explanation for the death and resuscitation of Dennis's blog: It was done by hackers. Al Fin concludes: Hackers could have deleted it as easily as Google.
But still he wants explanations from Google. If the criminals were hackers, Google will never provide an explanation. Anyway, Dennis's intellectual property was returned and all is well that ends well.
