The partners in the Tzuk Tamrur 4 oil exploration well today notified the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) that they found oil at the well, north of the Dead Sea. Should I be in the oil business? It is the only sector rising in the TASE.

I flew over there recently, quite low. It is hard to imagine there is not oil under the sands of Israel somewhere, or even offshore in the Mediterranean. Perhaps "they" know about it already, but are just leaving it there quietly til the price goes way up; which it will, sooner or later.

Was it Welikovsky who said that oil was everywhere, you only have to dig deep enough?
