I dont know. Russia is a very big country and conditions were different according where one happened to be. After the war, Russia was depopulated and with a tremendous lack of manpower. No men around. Stalin soon put them on his projects and it was proved that Germans like to work. Much of the postwar Russian industry was built by these Germans. Like those American rockets.
I remember seeing an account on TV of one German unit that was ordered by Hitler to fight to the death, but instead chose to surrender. Of the 96k men who surrendered 6k were seen again. I don't remember the name of the unit, so I can't lok it up on wiki to confirm the fate of those men.
The Russians may have worked some of the Germans to death. Those Germans being paraded on the streets of Moscow are being paraded as captured slaves in ancient times. In some countries not much has changed.
The Untermensch in question pictured on the German propaganda are not Jews. They are Russian soldiers.

Hitler was original white nationalist and love all white variety of white racials. Adolf only plan liberate ethnic Russians from Bolshie Jews. No lebensraum of Russian people.
Hitler definitely regarded the Slavs (ie, Russians)as Untermenschen. Curiously, despite the propaganda, it is probable that the only race he really feared as equal to the Germans, were the Jews. (I am quoting here from a newspaper article). What does the readership think? To me it explains his mentality quite well; the Jews as Untermenschen would not have constituted a threat.
The Germans were bolstered in their belief that the Russians were a lower race from Lothrop Stoddards book The Revolt of the Underman, which was about the Bolshevik revolution. According to the wiki article on the book it was read and quoted by at least one German officer.
