Hungary is waking up to the fact that needs babies more than anything else. An autonomous government organization was established - Családbarát önkormányzat - which is planning to forbid all antifamily shows and expressions in the media. They are also planning to certificate neighborhoods, shops, etc. that are family friendly.

On paper the idea of "family friendly" seems harmless enough but there are some ominous notes here - what does it mean to "forbid antifamily expressions"? This sound like something they would do in Saudi Arabia. What is needed here is the carrot and not the stick.

After the fall of Communism, Eastern Europe became the whorehouse of Germany. Most European porn is filmed in Hungary. It is good that they try to stop it.
