I am fasting two days and maybe I'll continue another day. It is easy, only feel something undefined in my stomach. The doctor said I like to eat and have to break my food addiction. I was expecting some kind of revelation, but nothing.
We are all "addicted" to food. Do you have a breathing addiction also? Can your doctor cure you of that one too? Pardon my French, but your doctor is an idiot. Fasting is not healthy. The ancient Greeks said "all things in moderation". Moderation is the key, neither feast nor famine.
I agree with the doctor. As someone who used to be fat, there is CERTAINLY such a thing as a food addiction, or more precisely, an addiction to overeating. It took me about a year of doing crazy things like fasting for days or eating only cottage cheese and bananas, before I felt fully in control of what, when, and how much I ate.
Sure, it's probably not the healthiest thing in the world, but I can't imagine it's LESS healthy than being fat. And I've been thin for about ten years now ...
I googled fasting and found nothing against it. I am into my third day. The doctor say eat 200 gram boiled chicken or fish. I dont feel hunger and prefer to continue. I drink a lot of water and Nescafe (nothing added).
You are just continuing an unhealthy relationship with food - all or nothing. Listen to your doctor who is maybe not such an idiot after all and eat 200g of protein.
I should have known, talking to an engineer. "200g of protein food".
200g of chicken /fish would be maybe 50 -70g of protein - usually you figure around 1/4 to 1/3 protein for meats/fish. You should consume at least .75g of protein per day per kilo of body weight or else instead of losing fat you'll lose muscle. If you are exercising, twice that.
I have started to eat 200 gr boiled fish or boiled chicken (the water has to be thrown out because of the salt - Israeli chicken is very salty). Incredibly it is filling and I am not hungry. I do moderate exercise inthe local Country Club.

Terrible idea. You know you need food to live, right?
Try a more sensible balance between increased exercise and modestly reduced calorie intake reduction.

Almost fainted. Ate a leaf of lettuce (really!) and feel full. I do not crave for food.
You will faint if you carry on like this.

200 g boiled fish or chicken is about 100 g protein netto. The rest is water.

Did you eat yet?

Exercise is the key.
Moderate, but consistent.
