The Tel Aviv Stock EXchange TASE at 1400 local time suddenly changed direction and it rising. Apparently more oil was discovered "somewhere in the Mediterranean."
And if you can't sell the oil abroad there are probably lots of Israelis that wouldn't mind cheaper fuel. Did you know that natural gas can be turned into diesel fuel, possibly for the IDF? link
On a related note right now here in Mesa the temperature is expected to peak at 105F today. Since my 30 year old car doesn't have air conditioning I pulled into a Circle K, and when I got in I found that the store was selling these massive slurpee drinks for less than a dollar. I made it 30 feet out of the front door of the store and I was already forming a headache from the cold.
And to think this is just the beginning of our summer heat. I hope the Valley doesn't peak at 122F like we did in 1990.

Well, good luck. Hopefully this pulls you completely out of the recession.
Now Israel has to find clients for its gas.
Clients? Gas and oil practically sell themselves.
