I have been there and know what this means. In the nineteen thirties, the Hungarian people became unhappy that most of the business was owned by its 5% Jewish minority, so a Law was enacted that "Jewish" business had to have a non-Jewish majority partner. The consequence was a rush to transfer ownership to loyal Christian employees and friends, which frequently ended in expropiation (as intended). The problem was temporary, as Jews soon were forbidden to own anything in Hungary.
Similar legislation exists today in multiracial countries like Malaysia and Indonesia, aimed against the Chinese minority, and many African countries (South Africa, Zimbabwe, etc.) against Indians and Europeans. The fact that America is moving toward that direction reflects the existence of deep racial conflict and the way the government intends to "solve" it.
The Diversity Mandate has arrived to the banking sector, which is heavily Jewish. Next, the media will be regulated against racial bias and duely diversified. American Jews should take notice. I dont think American Jews are nowadays pushing this programs, which are clearly against their interest. I know for sure that there was no Jewish influence in Indonesia and none in Malaysia's racial policies. In Zimbabwe, Kenya and other African countries that confiscated Indian and European property and locked them out of the civil service and so on, Jewish instigation was non-existent or minimal. South AFrica is still an ungoing process, we dont know how it will end.
Affirmative action is an old thing by now. It has not hurt the Jews so much as it has hurt Asians and other rising minorities - the Jews have a stable to decreasing share of the pie. It is minorities who want to increase their share who get blocked by affirmative action quotas. If we go to proportional representation, since the Jews of America count as "white" and whites are still 50+%, it is no problem for the Jews to fit their 1.5% in the 50%, even if they are 10 or 20x overrepresented in that 50%.
The amazing thing about affirmative action is that it has been so successfully sold as "inclusion" - you are not EXcluding anyone, you are just INcluding new players. Never mind that it is a zero sum game so that for every person you forcibly INclude some other (unnamed and unidentified) person is EXcluded - we are not supposed to notice that, just the gorgeous rainbow of the new diverse workforce/student body, etc. Liberals were never good at math anyway.

Another way of looking at the whole housing bubble is that it was caused by Federal pressure on lenders to lend to unqualified minorities. You can imagine how much this new requirement will "help" solve that problem in the future. Waters is an undisguised racialist/socialist. The idea that racial minorities are the one paying for the bailout so they are entitled to a fair share of the spoils is laughable (not to mention itself racist). Most racial minorities in the US pay no federal income tax at all and are on the whole a negative to the Treasury.

The problem is that 35-40% of the White electorate votes with the coloreds and keeps the Democratic Party viable. These voters may declare themselves to be conservative in when asked, but come election time they vote Democratic. As an example think of a paddy on the streets of Boston. If this imaginary paddy voted for Ted Kennedy for 40+ years is he really as conservative as he declares himself to be when asked? Massachusetts is the extreme example that illuminates what is going on up in the major Northern states that has historically propelled them towards liberalism.
As to the anonymous Jew above, as my previous sentence indicates I don't think the Jews are some demonic force propelling us against our will towards liberalism, but they aren't angels either considering the leftist causes they support.
Given that we have a democracy and Jews are a tiny % of the electorate, the (full) blame must lie elsewhere. Northern whites (disproportionately Catholic) made a sort of devil's bargain - give us fat pensions and unionized government jobs and we'll sign up for the whole liberal welfare state. K, the affection of Northern Whites for the Democratic Party predates the great unionization pushes of the 1930's and dates back to the day they stepped off the boat from wherever they came from. The Irish were active in Democratic politics at least as early as the Civil War. Collective economic arrangements are not a devil's bargain but rather are central to the economic thought of the RCC.
In many ways the unionization of Northern heavy industry during the depression resembles our current political predicament. Union organizers, a large number of whom are Jewish, organized the workers of the auto and steel industry, who were disproportionately Papists. The Catholics wanted a collectivist and paternalist economic arrangement like the Church had set up during the Dark Ages in the form of guilds and the Jews helped them get it. But without the Jews the Catholics would have gotten their wishes anyway, albeit slower. Right now we have a leftist political coalition that is managed at the top by Jews but we can nonetheless say that all of the groups following them are there voluntarily and would be working toward the same goals if the Jews were not there to hold them together. In the end the leaders only take the followers where they already want to go, even if the followers don't realize that where they are going is the natural outgrowth of their core beliefs.
In the future the Republicans, and even more importantly the White Protestants & Mormons that make up the GOP base are going to have to name and demonize the twin hydra of welfare and Catholicism as central to the decline of the United States. Without the Catholic component of the Democratic Party it would never amount to more than a quarter of the Federal House of Representatives and the GOP, even in its emasculated form would run the US with an iron fist.
Going further having to pander to the White Catholic vote is one of the biggest reasons the GOP has had to turn from its core values. Papist voters in the North are unwilling to submit politically to an organization made up of White Protestants and so they see themselves as being "moderates" holding some mythical middle ground between the "hateful" Jerry Falwells of the GOP right wing and the hardcore Left, which is why they vacillate between parties during each election. These are the idiots who often pollsters that they are conservative while voting Democratic causing GOP managers to get the false hope that they will win elections because 45 or 65 percent fo the electorate self-identifies as "conservative."
I recommended that you leave the Rust Belt precisely because of these idiots and their long term political influence on the state your daughter is living in.
