The Baron from the French Branch of the banking family is in Israel and was interviewed by the HaAretz fishwrap. This Baron thinks that the Jewish people made a big mistake in erecting obstacles for non-Jews twho try to join us. Jews are so few that are in danger of disappearing, he says. The Baron's mother was converted by a Paris rabbi, so he himself may not be Jewish according to the Orthodox. His wife is not Jewish and his daughter's boyfriend is a Saudi muslim. "If I am not a Jew, why are they begging me for donations?" he asks.
This Baron comes through as a decent, responsible, solid goyish character. He is very far from the Rothschilds of Frankfurt's Judengasse. The pic shows a Jewisher Rothschild making aliyah.
יש ויש = they come in all colors, says the Hebrew slang.

I just read a review of a couple of books about urban planning in which the reviewer criticizes the authors for wanting to do the impossible - to freeze an urban village at that precise moment in time when it is ripe for a Starbucks to open but the Starbucks is not yet open. Similarly, secular Judaism is not a stable phenomena but merely a frozen frame of a movie that begins with the Jews of the Judengasse and ends with goyim or atheists with some vague awareness that one of their great grandparents was of Jewish ancestry. The current Baron is around 3/4 of the way thru the movie.

Yes, but he seems a decent chap who gives to Jewish charities. He is extracting a good living from the family name. BTW, as a good French citoyen, he says capitalism aka America est fini.
Given that it is France and not America that is currently in flames, I'd treat his pronouncement with a grain of salt. If nowhere else, capitalism is alive and well in China, which is the most capitalist country I have ever visited.
How do you control a place where people feel entitled to receive things that they cannot afford or they will riot? Normally the solution is for the government to just keep printing paper - the Soviet formulation - the people pretend to work, the gov. pretends to pay them. But France is paying with real (German backed) currency called Euros. This is a problem.

Roman Empire stopped Jews from converting more gentile, not rabbis.
There were no mass conversions.
Not mass conversions but it was not unusual. Romans recognized Judaism as a valid and ancient religion (Romans respected old things) in contrast to Christianity which they viewed as a "made up" religion. And religion shopping was quite popular among Romans. Between these 2 factors and the fact that the Ashkenazim are disproportionately descended from the Jews in Rome, we have a fair amount of Italian blood in us today.

Dienekes has been running ADMIXTURE analyses with ever-increasing ancestral component discrimination. As shown by several autosomal DNA studies (first by Bauchet et al. study, then by Need et al. [from the Goldstein lab at Duke] and most recently by the Atzmon and Behar studies), modern Ashkenazi and to a slightly lesser extent Sephardi and Moroccan Jews, don't entirely fit the profile of either a Levantine or Arab populations but shows signs of that origin and subsequent admixture. The overall profile puts Ashkenazim between Levatines and South Europeans, and has been suggested, some combination of Anatolian, Greek and Italian admixture during the Roman period is a plausible source. After all, that's where our ancestors lived at that time, and Judaism did proselytize then (before Christianity became the Roman Empire's established religion). However, given that Jews are basically pariahs, I don't know what quality of proselytes we'd get today. East Asians and Europeans could improve our deficiencies, but given the leftist PC trends of modern secular Ashkenazim, I'm afraid of who they would "win" for us.
The quality of goy converts is better than our average. Everybody tends to marry on his/her level, and Jewish intellectuals marry goyishe intellecuals. For example, Chelsea Clinton is, genetically, an improvement on our average IQ if not beauty. Anyway, this is a sterile discussion, we are not looking for converts.
Your ultimate resource, treasure and near-monopolies are the Ashkenazim IQ and the Jewish spirit. They are very obviously both genetic, and are increasingly offensive to many in the modern world, sadly, including amongst your own people.
You should guard these qualities carefully, for they will not look after themselves, will not survive a prolonged flirtation with political correctness, and have already been marked for destruction, along with the rest of Western Civilization.
Anon.

Aren't Anatolian Turks Arabs?
Aren't Anatolian Turks Arabs?
No. They are Moslem religiously but not Arab ethnically or linguistically.

They are a mix of Turkic stock from the steppes to the East, the Greek/Armenian/Levantine substrate they found in Anatolia, some Arab, and various Circassian/Slav slave imports.
