Tarzan's Son, Dead
In life, Hungarian-born Johnny Weissmuller aka Tarzan of the Apes, was rumored to be homosexual. As kids, we used to joke about his sex life with Cheeta and other members of his primate band. But on film, he was a model WASP family man. The Boy (pic) grew up to be a California real estate agent. He died recently.

Where did you get this information? This is loshon hora - malicious gossip. Tarzan is perhaps admired by gay men for his body but I've not seen any proof that Weissmuller himself was gay - he was married (several times) and had a son. Boy spoke of Weissmuller with nothing but admiration.

Charlie, of Bloemfontein, says Mr Weismuller once made an entirely inappropriate advance on him, and Orsine, who fancied Mr Weismuller, was never able to make any progress with him. Koko used to cal hime "Mr Vicemuller", which was very unkind.

OK, forget the rumors about Weissmuller. What about Cheeta?
Cheeta was played by both male and female chimpanzees. One can only conclude Cheeta was hermaphrodite, and the Tarzan movies an early forerunner of the great wave of multiculturalism and Marcusian political correctness which has so enriched our society.
