Astonishing, but some of my projects do get made. The city sewage main is so high that I had to install a submerged pump under the parking.

J, I usually don't quibble with your English, which is amazingly good for what is your 4th language at least - I can barely speak one. But idiomatically, "hitting the dust" or "biting the dust" is a reference to death - the little dust cloud a soldier makes when he is shot and falls and is usually not connected to successful completion of projects.
For a successful project I would say something like "Another project under my belt."
I have an ejector pump in my basement because the laundry sink down there is below the level of the main. It is a sealed unit made in France and works very well and quietly. Houses in northern regions traditionally had basements because you have to dig the foundation at least 1 meter (or more in very cold regions) anyway to get below the frost line.

Thanks, I changed the title.
You're welcome.
