Biomedical Play: Protalix from Carmiel

Protalix is traded in AMEX:PLX and TASE 1120609 פרוטליקס It seems to fit my strategy of investing some money in startups. It is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of proprietary and biosimilar recombinant therapeutic proteins based on their proprietary ProCellEx™ protein expression system. Clal Investments recommends it. Pontifex fund of Eli Horowitz (founder of TEVA) is the main owner. I have to have it in my portfolio.

J,

Many posts ago you proposed that the WASP CEO of an Israeli Potash company (I think?) gave the brilliant jews a steady hand that led to profits.

If you'll look at this post regarding CEOs creating and destroying wealth, I think you'll be able to make a similar WASP/jewish corporate leader observation.

So, in conclusion, does Israel have any other public companies under WASP leadership?

I'll look into it. I dont know if there are other WASP leaders in Israel.

The most celebrated I think is Orde Wingate, the founder of the Israeli Defense Forces. He tought us first how to fight.

In your list, Steve Jobs is the wealth creator I most like, he has done great things.

J,

I will also look into it. I'll let you know if I find anything. I guess we can communicate through the comments.

Orde Wingate.

The missing leader of post-war Britain.

Dead in Burma, buried in the US, and a friend to Israel.

RIP; but he probably isn't.
