God is good

Gallup says that religious Jews are far well than others in America. Very few of the Jews are religious but the general well being of the Jews in America is higher than others. Protestants say they are the most unhappy. It is difficult to make sense of the whole thing, except that religious people are happier.

Religious Jews may be a higher percentage of the population than you think. There are certainly far fewer Jews in total than the bogus demographers' estimates - I'd say between three and four million. Perhaps as many as one quarter of them are religious.

I am puzzled. In rows you read Jewish, Mormon,.., and 'No religion/Atheist/Agnostic'. And in columns, Very religious, Moderately religious and Nonreligious. And there is the cell where Very religious meets with 'Non religious/Atheist/Agnostic'. And well-being of those very religious atheists is a 70.2!
