Last week there was it kind of disorderly in Cairo and the police had left the streets unpatrolled. This blonde South African sexbomb got herself lost in a dark alley and was raped by a mob whipped up to sexual frenzy. It only shows that these "reporters" have no idea who they are, where they are, what they are seeing and what is happening around them. Their reporting is worth nothing. Victorian explorers reported a truer image of the state of the world afar.

Generally women should not be on the streets of the Third World or for that matter some of the meaner streets of major cities, alone unless they are take after Lara Croft or Grace Jones. In Egypt this pervasive insecurity for unescorted women is compounded by a religion that sanctions rape as a punishment for women deemed to be of the enemy or being immodest.

Yes , just as we must ignore the obvious differences in intelligence between the races in the name of political correctness, we must also ignore all gender differences and expect unruly third world mobs to do the same. "sexually assaulted" may mean anything, from someone fondling her behind to violent mob rape. The fact that she was rapidly hospitalized points to the second. We in Israel had also several naive girls visiting Arab villages and ending hurt or dead.
The Wall Street Journal says it was not a rape, without saying what exactly it was.

What is the definition of rape by the NYT ? Anyway, there are no witnesses and nor tapes (they may surface on the net later) so we dont know.
Anyway, being lynched by a violently excited mob of swarthy Arabs calling her Jewess and beating her is not what she expected from those idealist fighters for democracy.
She probably wasn't raped, simply because it would have been logistically impossible with 200 swarming, crazed Mohammedans. Two or three or four men might collaborate and take turns in a gang rape, but hundreds presents a coordination problem. They probably beat her worse out of frustration that they couldn't rape her.
And no, she didn't wear that dress in Egypt. She dressed modestly, for a Western woman, but still stood out (probably the only blond woman for miles).
The ignorance is amazing. They have no idea what actual Jewesses look like. I suppose there are Jews that look like Logan, but she doesn't exactly have typical Jewish features. Or maybe all enemies of strict Sharia are "Jews".

She is apparently OK physically though probably traumatized mentally. She has been released from hospital and is recovering at home.
If you want to see something amazing about the Arab capacity for denial (De Nile is after all a river in Egypt) , go to english al jazeera and search for Lara Logan. Nothing, nada, a non-story, like searching for "Egypt" in China. So much for the brave freedom loving journalists of Al Jazeera.

The current media definition of "violent sexual assault" is something like Assange being accused of rape by two Swedish ladies, like our former President Katzav being accused of rape by her secretary, of our Minister Haim Ramon for allowing himself to be kissed and posing for a picture (that was in 2006). Therefore I assumed that the so-called assault may have been fondling her intimate areas, which is very common in crowded buses in the Third World. It is surprising that being a South African White, and a veteran foreign journalist, she was cought unaware of these basic Third World reality. She is not an unexperienced 15 years old virgin, she is an adult woman with much experience on young men. I find the whole episode silly.
AlJazeera has mastered the art of appearing as disinterested, neutral observers from the mindbenders at the BBC and ITV. It has been a long time since I listened to BBC news. They turned traitors sometime during Mrs Thatcher's ministership. There are still many holdouts in the BBC who hold to telling the truth instead of regurgitating agitprop and I salute them. But the organisation as such is probably beyond repair.
