Who is the Victim and Who is the Murderer

I am shocked by the world media's reaction to the heinous murder of a family in Itamar. ALL the articles I read talk about the reaction of the settlers, what NOW these terrorist-fanatic-settlers will do to the defenseless Palestinians and how the Palestinians live trembling under the terror of Jewish violence. Jewish violence! They dont stop talking about Jewish violence and terror while a three years old boy lays in his bedroom with a knife in his heart (pic) and his three old small brother bleeds to death with his throat slit. Western media sees imaginary Jewish revenge willfully confusing victim and criminal, the sucking baby with the beast with the knife. I dont make the mistake of accusing the media of having perpetrated the crime, that was an Arab terrorist, but the media definitely feels with our enemies and hates us.

Don't read the media. The comments and opeds will only make you depressed and more cynical. It's funny though how people think the settlers are on the same level as the terrorists. The settlers are allowed by the IDF to walk around with guns. If they were as radical as people say they are (and secretly want them to be), wouldn't there be Palestinians getting massacred left and right every week?

That said, I've read that some people support the settlements for security reasons (them acting as a buffer zone or something). How essential is having this settlement of Itamar?

Nothing is essential when you live in Brooklyn. Itamar is essential when your home is Itamar.

You are right to show these pictures.

Thanks. We are on the same wavelength.

"Nothing is essential when you live in Brooklyn. Itamar is essential when your home is Itamar."

You still didn't answer his question. Ok, so these people don't have an alternate home in Brooklyn. Couldn't they have lived somewhere like Kever Benjamin and avoided this risk to themselves and the increased provocation of the Palestinians?

Palestinian have never recognized the State of Israel - not in the 1948 UN mandated partition, not in the post-war truce borders, not in pre 1973 war borders, not in any form or version. They keep printing maps as we are inexistent and showing hamlets that have been levelled 60 years ago to make room for a highway. Kever Banjamin is no less a provocation for them than Itamar. BTW, Kever Benjamin was a 100 years ago part of some small village till bought by the Keren Kayemet fund and sold to Jewish farmers which in turn sold the land to developers who in turn sold the apartments and houses to people like me. We have had no terror acts here since the wall was built nearby and Arabs cannot infiltrate to the town. Since then we have terror and almost no crime, and I returned to my habit of leaving the car with the keys in.

J said...

We have NO terror, I meant. The only reason we have no terror is that Palestinian Arabs cannot enter the town. We have many Israeli Arabs from Tira and Taibe chasing Jewish girls, but that is another chapter.

Notice that I said "increased" provocation by living in Itamar. No one would dispute that Israel's existence itself provokes the Palestinians without end (which is one reason I'm so negative about the future of the place), but a lot of foreign governments' and the media's ire against Israel stems from the settlements. I suspect that media coverage might be less hostile if they hadn't been West Bank settlers.

You will come under pressure to take these pictures down.

Keep them up as long as possible.

Oh, bullshit. That is just a pretext- if there were no settlements then they would find some other pretext to hate the Jews. If we evacuated Itamar then they'd want us to leave Jerusalem If we left Jerusalem, then they'd want us to leave Jaffa. The Palestinians will never be satisfied until the last Jew is raped and murdered and their bodies cast into the sea. If this generation and certain leaders are satisfied, then in 100 years a different generation and different leaders won't be. So it is useless to pretend that there is some compromise that will truly satisfy them for now and all time. That's just wishful thinking.

The Jews in the Nazi ghettos used to engage in such wishful thinking - we will round up all the elderly and non-productive for the Germans and then they will leave the rest of us alone. You know where that lead. Never again. Killing a crazy settler's family in Itamar is no more justified that killing a Jew in Kfar Sava or in Brooklyn. Once you concede that it's OK to kill some Jews, then someday it will be OK to kill all of them.

K,

You've just laid out very succinctly one facet of the argument why Israel is doomed in the long-term.

IHTG said...

J, I'm sorry if this is obvious, but is there a reason for your calling our fair city "Kever Benjamin"?
Anonymity, I suppose?

Anonymous said...

I don't know that this means that Israel is doomed. The Serbs apparently feel the same way about the Croats but no one says that Croatia is doomed. Maybe it's the Arabs with their backward culture who are doomed. Remember that Israel could nuke them all if it cared to do so or was provoked sufficiently.

There is no anonymity on the internet - for anyone who wanted to figure out J's identity or location it would be only a "small" matter to learn it. On the other hand it would be beyond the intellect of most Arab scum.

Kever Benjamin is a new city and has nothing specific about it. In fact is something of a suburb of Tel Aviv. No famous battles or events took place here. No famous people ever lived here. The sole interesting building is Kever Benjamin, the Tomb of Benjamin, which we all know is a Turkish caravan-serai. There is no credible explanation why the tomb of Benjamin son of Yaakov should be here. The whole cult is based on a mistake or fraud, yet there it is Kever Benjamin for you to visit.

WHy the hell is everyone making these kids death such a big deal when, for the last five years, if not more, hundreds and hundreds of palestinian children, including infants, have been killed by jews in Palestine. Why isnt't their story in the media? Why are we suppossed to flip out over this when these people were also killed in their homes..it's the same shit but different toilet..Palestinians need to get their justice just like every other person and every other race!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Palestinians need to get their justice just like every other person and every other race!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you Palestinian Arab or Kevin MacDonald?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Two easily confused...

If the pictures illustrate "Palestinian justice" then they are truly a damned nation.

And the idiot who wrote is willfully blind to the very real distinction between unavoidable collateral damage in military operations (often caused by terrorists attempting to use the civilian population as shields) and intentional attacks on civilians. If the Israelis so desired, they could kill thousands of Palestinian children in a single day instead of the (fictional) hundreds over a period of years, but they make every effort to avoid unnecessary civilian casualties.

But such distinctions mean nothing to an anti-Semite - the Jews must be held to impossibly high standards and then when they fall short it is OK to murder them.

Why isnt't their (Palestinian children with slit throat and a knife in their heart) story in the media?

Why indeed? I presume because they exist only in the sick imagination of our enemies.

The idiot is Kevin MacDonald infected in substantial Palestinian Arab genetical pollution.

The willful savagery of the Palestinians is for me the main argument for the stong measures the Israelis take. We saw this for example in 2000 when two Israeli men were attacked and torn apart by a Muslim mob. Many years ago I too bought the nostrum that Israeli concessions will bring peace, the experience of the last 20 years has convinced me that Palestinian savagery has its genesis in their unrelenting hatred and jealousy of the Jews. This is why for instance they are incapable of a Ghandian movement. True non-violence on the part of the Arabs would have disarmed the Israelis a long time ago. In such circumstances any concessions will only be taken as signs of weaknesses. May God rest the souls of the dead.

The Indians had the saintly Ghandi. The Palestinians had the corrupt and perverted Arafat. Has anyone noticed how completely Arafat has disappeared from the discourse? Even the Arabs are too ashamed to mention him anymore.

K, Ghandhism worked as Indians are largely Hindus. It would never work with Muslims.

The Palestinian internet is full of drag pictures of Arafat - he was a lowlife degenerate. I would like to have enemies we can be proud of.
