Civilization Was Collapsing at Haight Ashbury

Ecce homo, Wie man wird, was man ist. San Francisco in the sixties. It was windy and cold. I was there. I was it. Now I feel something like nostalgia, more of me as a young man than the streets of Haight Ashbury. Then and there I was not impressed in the least. I was all for America, LBJ and the Viet Nam war.
