Reading the writings of the perpetrator of the Oslo massacre he mentions the Viennese School. What school? It seems to me that he is referring to The Gates of Vienna blog.
This morning the blog mentioned Fjordman, a Scandinavian blogger and commenter. He has nothing to do with the whole business, I am sure of it. Fjordman writes in The Gates of Vienna, Jihad Watch, Atlas Shrugs, The Brussels Journal and Fjordman's own (now defunct) blog on the islamization of Europe. He is strongly pro-Israel and accuses European governments to have formed an alliance that Bat Ye'or calls Eurabia. They share the idea frequently found in American blogs, that Western governments are intend on replacing their core population by third world immigrants. He has always strongly condemned any violence.
The ever alert Steve Hsu found out what is the Vienna school of thought (Goggle translation from Norwegian):
- Cultural Conservatism (anti-multiculturalism)I thought I knew what the Viennese School was, but I may have been wrong. Pic.: Arnold Schoenberg.
- [Against] Islamization
- Anti-racist
- anti-authoritarian (resistance to all authoritarian ideologies of hate)
- Pro-Israel/forsvarer of non-Muslim minorities in Muslim countries
- Defender of the cultural aspects of Christianity
- Revealing Eurabia project and the Frankfurt School (ny-marxisme/kulturmarxisme/multikulturalisme)
- Is not an economic policy and can collect everything from socialists to capitalists

You must have misread something. The shooter isn't Fjordman and I don't think that the blog ever said that he was arrested.
I sincerely doubt Fjordman, from the tenor of his writings, would ever be associated with this sort of thing.
An attack on white kids anyway would be a nonsequitur for any reasonably sane person on the right wing of this debate, and an attack like this on any group of innocent people should immediately be condemned as both profoundly immoral AND stupidly counter-productive.
Anon.
I didnt misunderstood. Fjordman is NOT the perpetrator I didnt suggest that. He is not associated with this terrorist attack. Having made clear myself (I hope), I did read in The Gates of Vienna blog that he was thrown into jail. Maybe I misread it, maybe it was untrue, maybe it is all a mistake. Sorry.
Let me add something interesting. I spent a few hours in the gym, exercising and watching foreign TV. The perpetrator was profiled as a Christian Fundamentalist. Having read some of his writing on Steven Hsu, it is obvious that he is NOT on a mission from God. Why should he be classified as such?
Regarding the young survivors interviewed on TV, they were obviously not ethnic Norwegian natives. Maybe it is a coincidence.
Interesting.
What I am concerned about is that we get to the truth, which seems to be taking some time to get out.
The only unambiguous message so far is that this was an attack on the Norwegian Government and governing party.
One Jihadist group apparently already claimed responsibility but likely that is their default position.
Anon.
Why Norway fears Muslim?
Islam was great for Eastern Europe.
And Sultan.
