Drama in Cairo II

Assault on the Embassy of Israel in Cairo. The mass seems to have the capability of self-organization for effective action. I dont know mass psychology but they dont seem a disorganized "mob". Israel thanked President Obama for saving the lives of the six Israelis trapped in the Embassy.

It's coming to the UK soon, courtesy of Blair, Brown, Mandelson, etc.

I remember Vice President Richard Nixon was almost killed by a mob in Caracas.

The Embassy will continue to be a target for an Iranian-style siege. The logic of the mob action is based on the unfortunate fact that they have the Muslims' sympathy. I believe that it better for the Israelis to leave the embassy empty.

No, we shall hang on. It is important to have a physical presence.

Perhaps it could be staffed by paid actors.

The Embassy guards get double pay and in one year, should they survive, they save for the deposit of an apartment. You dont know us.

from vfr:

"U.S. Defense Secretary Panetta urgently tried to reach de facto Egyptian leader Hussein Tantawi on the phone and was told he wasn’t available. Not only does this make certain, if it wasn’t already, that the decision to order police not to stop the mob and protect the embassy was made at the top of the Egyptian government, it shows that the Egyptian government is anti-U.S. as well as anti-Israel."

The Egyptian Government is anti-US but pro-Obama.
