I first heard financiers talking among themselves when I was 12, maybe, and could not believe their banalities. Today, analysing the expensive advice provided by financial institutions to their clients (see example above), I cant avoid the conclusion that that is it, there is no higher intelligence in the finance world. Pity.

It is difficult to escape the conclusion that the people in charge of the Western economies must actually be very much aware of this, and are actively engaged in the destruction of the Western economies with the express and specific intention of bringing about their deliverance in to the hands of their competitors, and even their enemies, as soon as is humanly possible.
Obama is like this.

There is no need to presume evil intention where mere stupidity provides a good explanation.
The second-tier people are definitely stupid, no question.
They have been very adequately characterized (by Marx, himself, I believe?) as "useful idiots"; easily recruited into believing they are enlisting in some great crusade for a better, more just world, and persuaded, without difficulty, into committing heinous crimes against their own people in order to follow an authority figure to the promised land.
If anyone doubts this, just familiarize yourself with the Stanley Milgram experiment. Nothing more need be said.
But the top tier people are not stupid; not at all. They are in pursuit of their own agenda, and it involves the destruction of the societies we have built up over generations. I think 'evil' is very apt, once you appreciate what they have in store for us (and for you).
