An Air Force base near a Natural Reserve in the Negev Desert has been suffering repeated losses of guard dogs. In the morning, the dogs (tied to a wire) were found without eyes, with deep wounds caused by a sharp object, and some, dead. The mystery has been solved: antelopes had been entering the base (to forrage kitchen waste) and were stopped by heroic guard dogs. The dogs lost.

Let the Bedouins hunt them (but don't let them into the bases!)
Perhaps these are Mukhābarāt trained Antelopes?
We are investigating if they work for the Egyptians or the Persians or perhaps the Turks. They have a sofisticated bovine expression that hides their true intentions.
In South Africa, Namibia and Botswana there are similar antelope called Gemsbok, and when viewed from the side, gave rise to the legend of the Unicorn.
They are very adapted to the desert.
Anon.
I think that the scientific name of these antelopes is Oryx and they were re-introduced in Israel from the Arabian peninsula. They have prospered.
Its a pity, the dogs should have been given a chance.
