Difficult Jobs

I am getting more and more difficult jobs. Yesterday was a heavy day: first a meeting on the famous Oriental singer's private waterworks, and then an enormous supermarket that after three years realized that the 10,000 dollar a month water bills it was paying didnt make sense.

The Playboy jacuzzi and the cascade of the celeb and his bloody dog (the pic is an illustration but close to reality) was approved and I already billed it. I had driven with the air conditioner and my chest was frozen, and all during the debate I was wondering if I was having a muscle contraction or a heart attack. The pain disappeared immediately after the meeting: it was pure nerves.

I know it was not a heart attack because shortly after I walked six kilometers up and down in a labyrinth of a building, the underground parking alone was like two acres, and there were three stages of it, and didnt die at all. The supermarket was being charged for its own (presumably real) water consumption and about thrice of it for shared consumption. The water company also charges the supermarket for other water meters that could not be found. As usual, the place had an unidentifiable jungle of pirate water pipes and no one knew what is supplying whom. I wrote my draft expertise report and sent it to the lawyer, this may be a difficult legal fight, but I have an advantage: the water company's engineers dont really care - it is not their own money. To win, I only have to find a way to prove that the bills were wrong but it was not their fault.
