Arab Wars

As predicted. Egypt is falling into ethnic civil discord and the military is in disarray. 26 dead yesterday, mostly Coptic Christians (pic: Coptic Pope). Egypt is busy with itself, divided, in no position to make war on Israel. The "Arab spring" weakened Arab power and we are left in peace. What is what we desire.

I fear it will not last long. The Copts will be forced out, or humiliated in some way, perhaps by a massacre or two; and then they will come looking for you.

Be ready.

By ``they``, I mean the new rulers of Egypt, courtesy of one B Obama, Esq.

It is difficult to see where 10 - 12 million Copts will go. The USA seems in no hurry to grant them refugee visas as did with Lebanese and Iraqi Eastern Christians.

And then also the 1 - 2 million Syrian Christians seem to living their last days in the Middle East.

Where can I get a crown like that?

I think the Copts are a less educated, less mobile population than the Levantine Christians. And as J said, there are lots of them.
So, they probably won't run away so easily.

Why, you think they will fight back?

Such is the incompetence of Arab states that they have a shot at winning if they fight and they look like a cornered cat with no other option, isn't this how Allawis a minority ended up ruling Syria or Israel come to be.

Israel should help them covertly, they could keep the brotherhood/govt entertained for at least two decades it seemed to work in Lebanon and Sudan

8 million Copts would have some chance fighting against 72 million Egyptian Muslims.

"The Copts will be forced out, or humiliated in some way,"

It is not as easy to kill 8 million people fighting like cornered animals as you would think.

It is not easy and they cannot expect any help from their brothers in Christ. The last Crusade was 700 or so years ago.

On the contrary, we can be quite assured that Obama`s pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah ``God damn America`` Wright, will urge the President to send in NATO to protect them.

Well, the NATO DID protect Croats and Albanians, so it may well be that it will occupy Egypt to impose democracy and freedom.
