It's not raining

On Sundays there were futball matches at the Velez Sarsfield Club in my Liniers barrio. My gang had no money for tickets so we used to get in the stadium ten minutes into after the start, when the guards have gone inside to watch the match. The entrance was under the high seats and when the stadium was full, people could not move to the WC so they urinated in situ, with the liquid dripping down under the seats. Once I said "It's raining" that became instant hystory. The anecdote may be circulating to this day in the streets of the old barrio.

This is apropros the continuous shitting and urinating on America by the German press. Tomorrow (1/12/11) Der Spieguel will print a main article titled:
"The Republicans' Farcical Candidates - A Club of Liars, Demagogues and Ignoramuses".
One does not talk like that about an ally's chief politicians. One could ignore for a while this pervasive anti-American sentiment in Europe, but by now one should recognize the "it is not raining". I have a sixth sense for these things and am afraid that this verbal agression may end as some kind of provocation. We dont need it.

Der Spiegel is part of the European problem, and understands much less about Western Civilization even than, for example, Michele Bachmann.
