Assad's regime is about to fall and we are preparing camps for the coming Alawi refugee wave. For the last two decades, Assad didn't shoot at us so we "owe" it to his tribe. After abandoning Lebanon, we granted immigrant status to the South Lebanon Army members who fought along the IDF. They made good here, they provide the best Oriental restaurants and excellent "Lebanese" arak. We didnt start out as a refuge for persecuted minorities, but here we are filling up with Miaphysites, Assirian Christians, Fake-Muslim Sectarians and Fire Worshippers. Somebody must already be planning what to do with ten million Coptic Christians, whose fate is most uncertain.

I suspect most of the SLA personnel remaining in Israel are Christians. These are the senior officers who are afraid of being imprisoned/murdered in Lebanon.
The SLA was mostly Muslim and the mass of the people coming here through the gate was Muslim. They settled all over the country and assimilated. Their children serve in the IDF. Like in America, the government is electing a people.

I dont think most Lebanese in Israel are Christian. My impression is that their religion is the shekel, a Phoenician currency, and lo! they are successful businessmen.
Who wants to return to Lebanon? They went to France or Cote d'Or where they own the place.
Cote d'Or is a bitter Belgian Chocolate but in my times it represented Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Dahomey, Ghana, etc. There must be a million Lebanese living there.
