Gulag Rations

Boiled whole grain wild wheat with paper-thin chicken breast. Is this the fare of a Gulag immate? But what am I complaining of? This is a veritable feast on J's table. Normally it is boiled whole grain buckwheat, oat, millet, barley, etc. Horses liked it in the old country, they never protested, what was good for them, must be good for J. I am lucky she hasnt discovered (yet) that these are cultivated cereals, the real natural unpolluted wild ones are the Spelt, the Einkorn, the Emmer, the Durum (from the Latin "hard") and its Papa, the Paleolithic (*) Kamut.

(*) Paleolythic = Similar to an Old Stone.

My son is attempting to pursue a "cave man diet" which is very low on grains, meaning that he gets to eat a lot of expensive meat. I keep telling him that cave men did not drink beer either.

Of course you mean a Gulag camp-commandants diet.

Finds at Ancient Egyptian tombs contained rests of beer. Which validates your son's drinking habits. Regarding the caveman, that's almost mainstream. He apparently have not heard about the Bonobo diet, which consists of wild fruit and nuts, and raw colobo monkey meat.
