Israel has decided to change the inborn nature of its African immigrants and make them Ashkenazi Jews. TOCHNIT ZUGIOT LEOLIM - how to translate it? Program for Teaching Immigrants to live in Couple? has been launched by the Israeli Government. It is a grandiose and very expensive government program that will deal with the acute problem that Israel's newest immigrants, those from the Ethiopian highlands, do not form families in the traditional Ashkenazi (or Western) mold, but live and reproduce in a complex matrix of male-female relationships. I say complex because I (and all other Jews) dont understand it. it may be quite simple, I dont know. And there is the issue of wife killing. The Government has long proclaimed that there is a severe problem of wife beating and wife killing in Israel, and all public employees were sent to re-education courses. I worked for the Government then, and all the people from my office - 60 years old Russian engineers with coronary problems, unmarried secretaries, an old Moroccan protocol writer lady - divorced with adult children, the fat cleaning lady, Mr Goldfarb the 70 years old Polish outside consultant with stomach cancer - we were forced to attend a course in Jerusalem, where we were re-programmed to not to kill our wives. No one can say that the Israeli Government does not learn. Today they have discovered that all, 100% of wife killing episodes are committed by Ethiopian males, so they are leaving us Ashkenazi superannuated engineers in peace. The Government is launching a fantastic program to re-educated Ethiopians to teach them what a couple is and what must be the relationships within a Jewish couple. In the Haredi sector there are many courses of Jewish morals and relationships, very much enjoyed by Haredi women who have no access to kitchen-variety porn. But this Ethiopian reform program has nothing to do with Judaism. It has been designed by left-wing liberal progressive psychology professors, experts in social work, writers of educational brochures, in short the very cream of the Israeli social sciences establishment. I suspect the program means a large source of well paid employment for this sector, and not only at the academic level but also for the many thousands of female social science graduates continuously generated by the schools.
The Program has immense possibilities because it deals with a social problem that is not exclusive to Israel but to very common in all the African Continent and the African-American community in the United States, Great Britain, everywhere. The Israeli experiment will be fully documented and analysed, conclusions drawn and academic and policy papers written, and the results published (I have no doubt that the numbers will show a tremendous improvement. Boas and Levontin's blood still runs in our veins, no?). I prophesy that in 2022 American social scientists will come to study the program in Israel and our experts will be consulting for all Western Governments.
Ah! to be young today! To work on sex relationships within the couple with Israeli and American social sciences chicks! But I am an old water and sewage engineer...! :-(

These programs sound like harmless good fun that provides employment for social science grads but cumulatively they constitute a major drag on the economy. Not only are the social science grads not doing anything useful (unlikely that they ever would) but real productive workers are taken away from their workstations to listen to the indoctrination. It is a short step from waving Mao's little red book.
Maybe the Israeli economy is doing well and can afford such nonsense but in the US and Europe we have reached a tipping point and each such gimmick just puts us deeper and deeper into the hole. These type of programs are being paid for with money we don't have. Government borrowing is always dubious but it's especially dubious when you get nothing (less than nothing) back for the spending.

Having undergone re-programming, I am in the position to testify that it is not fun. On the contrary. The emotional climate of the anti-wife-killing course was deep suspicion and hostility to males, all of them suspected or potential wife killers. Women experienced a climax of deep emotion when an actor (yes, there was an actor too) enacted the drama of an unemployed drunkard who becomes violent against his hardworking, suffering wife and in the final wave of emotion he kills her and then the cathartic crying and regret. I walked out chating with another elderly engineer and the women left an empty circle around us, as if we were dangerous criminals. And every one was expected to tell an educational story from his own life, like an evangelical revival meeting. Horrible.
What is interesting is that there are certain deep seated currents present in human interactions - one of them is the idea of public confession of "sins", whether this is in a socialist re-education camp or Stalinist show trial or a revival meeting or a PC training session. Also truth is not important in such confessions - the "higher truth" is always more important than mere reality.
Fundamentally I think this is a way for alphas to assert their dominance over the lesser ranks - the alphas themselves never have to confess unless they lose their alpha status. But, as confession is verbally based, this behavior could only have arisen after the development of speech. It must somehow be linked to the maintenance of tribal structure.

Israel is clearly very forward thinking. By importing black immigrants who practice circumcision, it avoids expenses such as
this one.
(As you will note, this grant is directed towards Africans in Africa. But clearly this is just a pilot project and the methodology will, in short order, be applied to sons of Africa worldwide. One awaits with real pleasure the news of such projects being carried out by concerned straight-A girls throughout the First World.)

Again very interesting that the instincts that lead modern women to become "Straight-A girls" are found (at least) in all modern Western countries - even though the writer is describing Finland, this exact species of bird is readily identifiable in the US and the UK and Israel, etc. Of course in the age of modern communication, there is copycatting going on, but also there must be something in the environment (a sense by women that their power is ascendant?) that has caused this once unknown species to blossom.

In my unsubstantiated opinion, the Straight-A Girl is more conscientious than smart or inquisitive. For her, obtaining straight A's is a matter of conforming and fulfilling others' expectations. (Note that many Straight-A Girls are as captious towards members of their circle as they are non-judgmental towards dark-hued foreigners, "sexual minorities," etc.)
As fundamentally mediocre people, Straight-A Girls have little to offer private industry. Men of equally modest ability will work longer hours and not get pregnant, nor sue for discrimination, nor constantly police speech and conduct.
But then, men of comparable ability will likely study accounting, law, or engineering, not psychology or sociology of the arguments-not-numbers school. It is well-known that the marginal woman is more likely than the marginal man to deal with bad grades in hard subjects by changing majors. Obviously a mediocre but conscientious accountant adds much more value than a diversity cop, HR girl, or civil servant who takes 2-hour coffee breaks.
All over the world, bureaucracies, NGO's, and "public interest" organizations offer earnest, useless Straight-A Girls jobs for which they are perfectly suited. These jobs might not pay very much, but they often allow you to leave early, not to mention giving you the warm feeling of "making a difference" even if you spend 4 hours a day surfing Facebook.
Of course, not all women who get straight A's are Straight-A Girls. And yet, we all know the type, thus this conversation...

Regarding your last remark, I absolutely agree - my MIT bound daughter has straight-A's but in the hardest possible subjects (including a university course in 3rd semester calculus). Her desire is to "make a difference" but not in some bleeding heart sense of helping some designated group of "the disadvantaged" (who by this point are in fact advantaged) but rather by doing work that will advance human knowledge in a broad sense.
On the other hand, her politics are not that different than a typical straight-A girl but I hope she will outgrow them. I am not entirely hopeful - the academic circles she will likely find herself in are generally left-liberal.

My sisters are not unlike your daughter, I think -- a chemical engineer and a pharmacist, though not via the royal road of MIT. Sadly, their politics are also liberal-left-conformist, so I may be left solely responsible for perpetuating my family's genetic and cultural legacy in the next generation; motherhood is a calling requiring sacrifice, not a lifestyle accessory to be taken up as a hobby in middle age. What the Turks couldn't do, liberalism is doing, and "the old country" will soon be as dead as the shtetl -- within two generations, David Goldman thinks.
The Straight-A Girls do harm not just through holding their political opinions, but by acting as P.C. enforcers in their copious spare time. Your daughter will certainly never do that and is thus already quite different from that type.

I am gratified to learn that not only the Government of Israel is working on the remaking of Africans but its big brother, the Government of the USA, is also engaged in similar projects. The study to learn if Africans are willing to wash their genitals after sex is a large step in the right direction.
The end product of the study, the development of the correct “penile cleansing procedure” will benefit not only the Africans but countless blondes (young females of European origin).
Every tax cent spent on protecting our daughters is well spent.
Anyone who thinks that black South African males are going to be propagandized into altering any aspect of their sexual habits/genital hygiene, is on crack.
There are few if any people in Southern Africa who do not know how the HIV epidemic is propagated, yet "the band plays on".
The question of why behavior cannot be altered in the face of that knowledge, rather than how to alter behavior in ways that should be utterly obvious, is what really should be studied.
However, the results would not be palatable to the investigators, and would be suppressed.
