Egypt Jails Foreign Agents
Egyptian military government has repeatedly pointed to "foreign hands" behind Egypt's problems throughout the past year. The population loves these shady conspiracy theories and phantasizes in fighting foreign devils. The most active foreign subversives, the Americans NGOs, believed that their alms would buy them immunity. About six Americans have been arrested with forty local employees, charged with subversion of Egypt's democratic process. Myself also find American subversives, naive and sincere, most irritating.

They are naive but their motives are pure. You would think after centuries of getting killed in various heathen hellholes they would get the message but they are willing to risk life and limb for their higher calling, whether it is Jesus or socialism or whatever. As idiotic as they are, they are not CIA agents (these are the last people you would trust with secrets) and they don't deserve to be made pawns in some cynical game by the Egyptian military. And of course, the Egyptian public is even stupider, for believing this crap. Of course lack of introspection is the great Arab failure - blame ALWAYS lies elsewhere.

Some are CIA agents. But please dont misunderstand me. It is no crime to be a CIA agent. I think they are decent patriots. America has a legitimate interest to learn what is happening in other countries. CIA is a benign institution, working for the good of humanity.
