teo commented about the great racial war called WW2.
I like teo's wry style and maybe unwittingly he got it right. After the WWII, the question of what to do with the German people was debated. Roosevelt considered de-industrializing Germany and reducing it to a peaceful Ruritania; about the debate in Russia we know little but East Germany was effectively dismantled. There were more extreme proposals too, for sure, but the Germans did little harm to AngloSaxon peoples so they did not develope the amount of fear and hate required to condone their obliteration. Moreover, the AngloSaxons re-industrialized and re-armed Germany and had them ready to re-launch the war against Russia if Russia ever became a nuisance.
Germans tried to wipe out the slavs. Got completly crushed. Being a rather generous and gentle man Iosif Djugasvili, the destroyer of the nazi beast, decided not to reply in kind and closed the subject. He said : "Hitlers come and go, but Germany and the German people remain." Jewish commnunity was almost obliterated.
The roots of PC antiracism can be found in this great racial war and it is written in the founding documents of the United Nations. But in seventy years anti-racism has turned to something unrecognizable and deals mostly with Africans. African people are insignificant from every point of view and the discrimination they are supposed to be suffering is ridiculous in terms of what "real" racism is. Who cares that there are proportionally few African rocket scientists? I dont. We should spend no time obsessing on that kind of "racism".
